Atlanta has been the biggest audience yet. With nearly 300 attendees, the rooms are packed, the energy high and the content strong. We have seen some great presentations from guys like Olivier Chaine, CEO of Magnify360, on Behavioral Targeting that really dive deep into what it is we need to do and why. I got my ah ha moment in hearing Olivier say “we don’t need to spend $500k on our website; we need to spend $500k on continuous improvements of our website.” The point taken is that the website and online marketing initiatives we embark on are not one time projects, rather continual improvement programs that need constant support and analysis. Really like that approach b/c so much is changing in Online, that it is almost a prerequisite to re-evaluate every few months as opposed to the old budget/plan once a year and execute. The world has changed and so should our planning process… 30 minutes away from serving drinks on the the keynote panel, so going to run… next stop Denver! btw, pictures are up from previous OMS!

August 13th, 2008 at 9:17 am Aaron, Nice Job yesterday. Found it interesting and informative. We had to “bug out” a little early and missed the panel at the end. Question: I’d be interested in joining the Council, but did not have time yesterday to fill it out and turn it in. Can I fax it in to someone? Number? Thanks Rob Schwing

I had a great time and so did the other six members of my company that attended. We walked out of there better employees. Thanks!

I thought the OMS Atlanta conference was great! It was packed and there was some good discussion overall. The panel was informative and gave us some things to think about. I am a huge fan of OMS now and can’t wait until the main conference. I would also like to submit an app for the council.
