Educational Resources – As Promised

Posted by Bill Bruno on June 16th, 2009 | Exclusive to OMC

I hope that you’ve been able to make it out to an OMS near you.  I’ve had the pleasure of presenting in MN and ATL, and the crowds have been awesome!  As part of my presentation, “Inside the Mind of an Analyst,” I promised to deliver a list of resources that you could use to educate yourself on Web Analytics.  So, as promised, here is a list.  I’d love for you to comment and add in other resources that I don’t have listed, and please contact me directly if you have any questions at all (bill@stratigent.com).

    Bill,
I believe there is a lot of interest in becoming the mind of an online metrics analyst, but often times there is no sharing of specific reports people use: Dashboards, monthly statistics managed reports, etc. The purpose is to get a sense of how businesses are assessing, learning, and refining their online activities based on performance. Have you seen any samples of reports?

    Hi Dawn,

There are definitely quite a few resources and case studies available on the vendor sites as well as presentations from industry events like OMS, eMetrics, etc. I find that the best place to share knowledge is by attending industry conferences and getting on the mailing lists for vendor webinars that include clients.
