Speckyboy Design Magazine launched in October 2007, as my personal web design homepage. I was just taking (what felt like) a giant leap into freelance design and consultancy, and needed a home base for my potential clients to get in touch with me… Somewhere over the following months this site changed direction, when I realized I was getting more and more visitors. It started with an article called Top 25 Free Icon Resources for Web Designers, and it did very well on delicious, and the visitors increased. By then I had caught the blogging bug.
